Music Catalogue

MoB essentially does cover versions of artists like Jimi Hendrix, Gary Moore, John Mayall, Robben Ford, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and Stevie Ray Vaughan to name a few. To play covers of artists who have changed the musical landscape requires guts and ingenuity. “Nobody wants to listen to a band attempting to resurrect a music giant like Hendrix or do copycat versions of other greats”, says Philipe. What people want is to hear that genre of music come alive in unique ways, assimilating different musical influences and styles.
“We uncover covers”, adds Philipe.

MoB brings their own inimitable style and arrangement to every song they play. Their versions of the traditional blues songs, includes variations made by other musicians and MoB’s own modifications, leaving it sounding very different from the original.

Live Performances

High energy, pulsating stage performances is what MoB is known for. “There is nothing more exhilarating for an artist than to see an audience go wild, tripping on their music,” says Rauf. “This is what we thrive on and it keeps us coming back for more,” he adds.

From playing to select audiences at Hard Rock Cafe, Opus, Tavern, Legends of Rock, Take 5 and other favourite haunts of music lovers in Bangalore, to playing at public grounds, parks, stadiums and pubs, MoB’s live performances are always marked by explosive energy.
