Influences that have shaped the Band’s music. The band’s influences range from old, traditional Blues (Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon) to Blues-rock (Jimi Hendrix, Robben Ford, Stevie Ray Vaughan), other ‘greats’ from the 60s and 70s (Bob Dylan, Beatles, Doors) down to the modern exponents of Rock (Joe Satriani, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin). You will find glimpses of all these influences in the styles each of us brings to the band’s music.
Practically every song we play incorporates our own style and arrangements. Our versions of the old, traditional blues songs, for instance, are nothing like the originals – they include variations made by other musicians over the decades, in addition to our own modifications. As Philipe says, “We uncover covers”.
October Fest Bangalore, Bengaluru Habba, are just two of the performances to large audiences, in addition to innumerable other concerts at public grounds, parks, stadiums, pubs, etc. We prefer not to count any of them as ‘Landmark’ performances - because we simply do not have any pedestrian ones.
